Racing for Abilities
Our annual fundraiser that supports ABC Works and Woodland Industries, helping create meaningful work and recreational opportunities for individuals with disabilities in Houston County.
Held each May, the event features an afternoon full of fun—including live music, food, auctions, raffles, and a viewing of the iconic Kentucky Derby. It’s a great way to connect with the community while making a real difference.
All proceeds stay local and go directly toward enhancing programs that promote inclusion, independence, and opportunity for the individuals we serve.

On the Tee with ABC
Join us for one of our most popular and impactful events of the year — Our annual golf tournament in June at the beautiful Somerby Golf Club in Byron, MN.
Enjoy a full day on the green with lunch, raffles, contest prizes, and the crowning of our yearly champion team, followed by a celebratory dinner. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just in it for the fun, it's a day you won’t want to miss.
This tournament has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of ABC’s programs and services, helping individuals with disabilities live, work, and thrive in their communities.

AbilityFest
AbilityFest was created by ABC staff as a fun and meaningful way to bring together the individuals we serve and the greater community. Held in the front parking lot of our Rochester location, this free, community-focused event is all about connection, celebration, and inclusion.
Enjoy a day filled with music from a live DJ, food trucks, yard games, inflatables, the Red Barn mobile zoo, and the always-popular "Slime Your Staff" activity! While the event is free to attend, some activities and food options have a small cost to support future events and programming.

Celebrating Abilities
Celebrating Abilities is our annual fall fundraiser in support of ABC, held every September in partnership with our friendly neighbors at Little Thistle Brewing Company!
This family-friendly event features a full day of fun, including live music, inflatables, a silent auction, dunk tank, pumpkin painting, face painting, root beer floats, and more. Plus, a portion of beer sales from the day come back to ABC to support our mission and programs.
Enjoy the festivities and help us raise funds that empower individuals with disabilities to live fuller, more inclusive lives in our community.

Annual Recognition Banquets
Every year, ABC hosts two Annual Awards Banquets—one in Rochester and one in Houston County—to celebrate the incredible individuals we serve, along with their families, staff, and supporters.
These special evenings include dinner and a heartfelt program recognizing the achievements, milestones, and dedication of our community. We also take time to honor our amazing community partners, board members, and volunteers who help make our mission possible.
It’s our way of saying thank you—and celebrating the people who make ABC who we are.
