Center
Based Employment
An
employment program that provides work experience and support
services for adults with vocational limitations. Individuals
involved with this program will be assisted in improving
and/or increasing their work skills and preparing for potential
community employment.
Admission
Criteria
- Must have completed
a Vocational Evaluation or have adequate vocational information.
- Requires and
desires a structured work environment.
- Should be able
to maintain attendance and punctuality with no more than
one unexcused absence/tardiness per month.
- Be capable
of caring for personal needs, toileting, eating, mobility,
medication administration, etc or have a personal care
attendant.
- Have an identified
source of funding support.

- Individual
is unable to maintain acceptable functioning
in order to meet Center Based Employment criteria
- Individual
refuses to work toward individualized program
objectives
- Individual
terminates program or no longer expresses or
demonstrates interest in being involved in
the program.
