June 14, 2010, Rochester Golf & Country Club:
The tenth annual ABC event teed off with Jason Bale and Gene Kreinbring hitting the ceremonial first drive. 134 hardy loyal golfers followed suit and endured a steady drizzle for 5 hours and 18 holes of fun. It was our first rainy day tournament but everyone was a good sport about it. We appreciated the dry club house and a warm dinner that much more.

looks on. Everybody had a great time despite some
very soggy weather.
The McNeilus Steel team earned the top honors again. The big winners of course are the participants at ABC that the funds raised in the event help keep their programs alive and well. The event generated over $60,000 in income. We continue to be greatly appreciative of the generosity of the sponsors led by McNeilus Steel the major sponsor, Associated Bank/Associated Financial Group the lunch sponsor, and Think Bank the dinner sponsor.
No one won the Hole in One contest, a few donated their $5 to try and beat Chris Myhro for closest to the pin, and a few others got their ball in the circle on #14. Jason spoke to the crowd at Dinner about his experiences at ABC for ten years, Steve Kelley got to plug our event on the evening KTTC news, Dr Bergquist recognized the sponsors and the golfers for their contribution and many good items changed hands at the silent auction.
We all look forward to another great but drier day at the RG&CC on June 13th, 2011. See you then. Thanks again from everyone at ABC…..
