Larry began his career in rehabilitation at the Duluth Sheltered Workshop in February 1969 in a center based supervisory position and developed into the lead supervisor for a 200 participant work program. After 7 years he moved to Rochester and took on the responsibilities of Production Director at ABC. Since December 2001 he has served as the Assistant Director. Although his role has changed from direct care in a vocational setting to one of primarily an administrator he values the personal interaction with workers his job allows and the positive impact his contribution can have on their vocational opportunities.
Margaret Coleman

Margaret started her career at ABC in 1982. She grew up on a dairy farm in Zumbrota, and has lived and worked in the region most of her adult life. She is currently the Director of Human Resources at ABC, but has worn many hats during her time. Margaret is a member of the Society for Human Resource Managers (SHRM) and active in charities and philanthropy in the Rochester community. As a result of Margaret's work on behalf of people with disabilities, Margaret's husband Pete changed careers and became a social worker, as did both of the Coleman daughters.

Laurie has been working at ABC since 2003. She was born in Nebraska and graduated from Bellevue University with a BA in Business Administration. She has been married to her husband Craig for 25 years, and his work is what brought them to Rochester. Laurie previously worked in the for profit world for 16 years. She has been enjoying her meaningful nonprofit work. Laurie is and active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She has a son Jason 20 and daughter Alyssa 18, and encourages her family to volunteer and give back to others!

In June 2006, Wes joined the staff at Ability Building Center as the Program Director. Wes grew up in St. Joseph, Minnesota, obtained a BA in Psychology and MS in Psychology from St. Cloud State, as well as a BS in Business and Computer Information Sciences from Mankato State University. He has worked as a Psychologist for the State of Wisconsin in Chippewa Falls. Wes also worked as a psychologist for the state of Iowa for five years specializing in disabilities. For three years, Wes had a private consulting firm specializing in disability assessment, and consultation of behavioral problems, especially those associated with rare disorders.

Judy is the Houston County Program Director for ABC, supervising ABC Works, Woodland Industries and the West Grove House. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Psychology and began her career in 1984 at TASC in Waukon, Iowa as a Daily Living Skills Specialist. In 1986, Judy began working at the Houston County DAC (later called NetWorks) as a Program Coordinator and after a year moved to the position of Employment Coordinator. In 2000, she became the Program Manager at ABC Works, and became Program Director for ABC in Houston County.

Steve has been at ABC since October of 2003. As the Controller, Steve has responsibility for the organization's fiscal health. Steve's background is in finance and accounting in the for-profit world, so his expertise has been critical as ABC faces the challenges that all businesses face in a shrinking economy. Steve is also a key member of the Business Development team, and has guided that team's efforts and successes.

Before coming to ABC in 1995, Allison was a legal secretary . She has 4 children and 5 grandchildren, and has lived in Rochester for most of her life.

Steve graduated from Luther College in 1981 with degrees in Accounting and Economics. He was hired as ABC's Controller in 1983 at a time when ABC didn't own any computers. He bought ABC's first computer in 1984 and now – hundreds of computers later – is the Technology Director. Steve was Controller from 1983 to 1988, and then spent 15 years as the Marketing Manager for ABC mainly focusing on marketing to the Medical sector. For all 27 years Steve has been in charge of technology at ABC in addition to his other duties. Now taking care of the Technology is his full time job. Steve has been married to his wife Laura for 27 years and they have 3 daughters. His brother Clark is the Director of a Vocational Rehabilitation Facility in New Richmond Wisconsin.
Norma Glawe

Norma is a Northern Illinois transplant, having moved to Rochester in 2005. She began at ABC as a job coach in January 2006 and has held other positions before becoming a Program Manager in May 2010.

Kathy Molus has been with ABC for 5 years. In this time she has held several positions and is currently the Program Manager for Ability Enterprises and Ability Options. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Her husband's career brought the family to Rochester 8 years ago. Kathy has had several “careers” in her lifetime; Crisis Interventionist, Residential Program Manager, Child Care Provider and finally here at ABC, where she is truly an "outside the box" thinker. She enjoys working with people and feeling that she can be part of a team to help someone reach his or her goals. “I have never worked at an organization that is as committed to its mission as ABC!”

Stephanie has been employed at ABC since 2006. She has worked in AE, CBE and SE as a Program Coordinator and has been the Program Manager of AU since December 2009. Stephanie has two undergraduate degrees in Counseling Psychology and Theology from Crossroads College. Stephanie lives in Rochester with her husband Chris and her dog Sparky. In her spare time Stephanie likes to read, scrapbook and play her Wii.

Jeff has been with ABC since 1989. As a result of his leadership, ABC has achieved multiple "exemplary" conformance ratings for its health and safety programs from the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). In the quality arena, he has extensive experience in the continuous improvement process and was a past board member of the Rochester Area Quality Council (RAQC). Jeff holds an Associate in Science degree and is also responsible for ABC's Wage & Hour compliance program.

Stacey's passion for discovering new employment opportunities for persons with disabilities in our community is of the “Leave no stone unturned” variety. Stacey is also currently finishing her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work at Winona State University, is an avid reader and loves spending time with her family.
